To the Zoo!!

So, we went to the Boise's Julia Davis park the other weekend for a picnic and to visit the Zoo. It was a lot of fun. We were there ALL DAY.


There weren't any flowers since we were to early, but it was one of the first nice weekends we have had. It's been a weird spring.







We had a fun picnic with our friends Sarah and Jesus and their son Tony. We were also joined by our new friend Mr. Squirrel.




















Then, we got to go to the Zoo! Yeah!


Some sort of bear sloth thing. Whatever. He was sleeping.. and biting sticks but mostly sleeping.

A cavy. Some sort of rodent thing.

A meerkat!


.Some of Carolyn's favorite monkeys. It's a Gibbon. She made me take like 40 photos and then yelled at me for not taking more.






And of course, the penguins. We spent a lot of time here, just watching them swim back and forth.












































Finally, we left the zoo and flew kites. Let me tell you, it takes a real man to fly a Hello Kitty kite. We even threw the Frisbee around for awhile. We didn't get home until after 5:00 p.m. A fun day but both of us came out with sunburns.
