Carolyn's Concert Palooza Part 2.....Def Leppard

So last night was the Def Leppard concert at the Idaho Center in Nampa. We had awesome seats and suprisingly enough, no drunk people bothering us (there were drunk people, but at least they were friendly drunks). This time in attendance was of course my friend Sarah, her husband Jesus, two of Sarah's sisters [Amy (oldest sister) and Michelle (youngest sister)], and one of Sarah's nieces, Taylor.

The first band to play was Styx. I was never a big fan of Styx growing up, but they played and sounded really good. Again here is a photo from some website because my cell phone camera is very bad at taking pictures at concerts.

Next on stage was REO Speedwagon. Their music took me back to 8th grade dances at Hawthorne Junior High School. Picture it.......girls all bunched up in one group, guys in another group, and a few serious couples in the middle of the gymnasium dancing arms length away from each other while REO Speedwagon's "I Can't Fight This Feeling Anymore" is blaring away. Ahhh, memories. The band sounded really good and they actually have a new album coming out fairly soon.

And then finally the group of the night, Def Leppard. They still can rock after all these years. The crowd went wild when they played their infamous"Pour Some Sugar on Me" song. They also sang "Love Bites" and "Animal". They sang more songs but the ones I named are the only ones I could sing along to. Def Leppard also has a new album coming out next week. And you have to love a band who has a one armed drummer. Main can that guy wail on the drumset.
